Y2 Leavers Concert – Tattybogle

Year 2 leavers concert is called Tattybogle, it is about a scarecow who wasn’t very good a scaring crows.
Tattybogle_01

This is Tattybogle the scarecow.
Tattybogle_04

The story begins in winter.

Tattybogle_02

It is too cold for the mice, they return to their holes
Tattybogle_03

and the rabbits return to their burrows.

Tattybogle_05

The farmer sowed his wheat seed
Tattybogle_06

Tattybogle couldn’t scare the crows but he made sure they didn’t eat all of the seed.

Tattybogle_07

The wheat grew
Tattybogle_08

Bugs came to eat the wheat, but the crows ate the bugs. Tattybogle was right not to scare the crows.

Tattybogle_09

At night owls would fly around looking for the mice who lived among the wheat.
Tattybogle_10

When the wheat was harvested, the farmers wife used the flour to make bread.

Tattybogle_11

One day a storm blew and Tattybogle’s hat, clothes and straw were blown away.
Tattybogle_12

All that was left was a stick.

Tattybogle_13

Soon it was spring again.
Tattybogle_14

The stick had grown into a tree.

Tattybogle_15

The farmer made a new scarecrow.
Tattybogle_18

But the Tattybogle tree could still watch over the field of wheat.

Tattybogle_16

Our final song was about friendship….
Tattybogle_17

…and moving on.
