Reminders

March 2007 News Letter and Reminders

Headlice

We again have had a number of reported cases of headlice, and ask that all parents check and treat their child if any are found.  Please note that although specialist lotions or shampoos may reduce the number of live lice, in the long term they are ineffective as they do not kill the eggs.

The only way to clear headlice is to regularly comb with a metal toothed nit comb.

Parking

We have had complaints from residents about parents parking across driveways etc.  Please park considerately when bringing or collecting your child to and from school.

50p for Red Nose Day – Comic Relief  – Friday 16th March

We are having a ‘wear something red’ day for Comic Relief. If you want to take part, wear one item of red clothing on Friday 16th March and bring in your 50p.  All money to be donated to Comic Relief.

Spare Clothing

From time to time children have accidents in school where we need to change their clothes.  If this happens we would appreciate it if you could wash and return the borrowed items.  We would also be grateful if you have any spare school clothes you could donate to us to use on such occasions.  We are particularly short of underwear, skirts and trousers.  Many thanks.

All the family is welcome – Please come along and let your child show you their work.
