Induction Day KS1

Induction day is Thursday 3rd July, when our Y2 children will be spending the day at their new junior school.  Please remember that all children will be expected to wear our school uniform to their new school on that day.

Our current Reception and Year 1 children will spend the day with their next class teacher, and our new children joining us in Reception in September will be visiting us during the morning.

The Key Stage 1 classes will change as below:

1BR – to 2F1 – Mrs Fussey
1EG – to 2R – Miss Robinson
1B – to 2P – Mrs Proffitt

Due to the organisation of school from September, some teachers will move classrooms:

Mrs. Proffitt will move into the main school building and will be based in the classroom nearest the hall.  Children will need to come in and leave via the double doors off the playground, (along with Miss Robinson’s class).

Mrs Fussey will also move into the main school, and will be based where Mrs. Alison Brown now is. Children will enter school through the classroom door under the verandah.

Miss Robinson remains where she is!

On Induction Day can you please take your child to their new class in the morning, and pick them up from their new class at 3.00p.m.

Children do not need to bring book bags into school on Induction day.

Induction Day Reception

Induction day is Thursday 3rd July, when our current Reception children will spend the day in their new classes. As you will know, we have run the Reception as a unit this year, but the children have to be split into proper classes from September. This means that some children will move into a split Y1/Y2 class with friends that they work with in the classroom. As always, they will have the usual opportunities to play with other friends at playtime and dinner time.

Class 2F1: Mrs Fussey (in Mrs Alison Brown’s current classroom)
Libby Baskerville, Aemelia Waddington, Millie Houghton, Madison Horne, Catherine Wong, Isabelle Luders, Reece Pickering, Bailey Doughty-Walsh, Maxwell McDonald, Joseph Francis, George Rawlinson

Class 1B: Mrs Alison Brown: Remainder of RB (in Miss Greathead’s current classroom)

Class 1BR: Mrs Anne Brown: Remainder of RK (in Mrs Brown’s current classroom)

On Induction Day can you please take your child to their new class in the morning, and pick them up from their new class at 3.00p.m.

Children do not need to bring book bags into school on Induction day.
