Media Workshop

A group of five year two children went to Stockingford Infant School to take part in a workshop on Traditional Tales and Media.
They worked as a group with two children from another school and created a film based on Jack and The Beanstalk.
The children were super actors and enjoyed creating, practising, performing and filming their plays. They were very enthusiastic and co-operative throughout the day.

Crazy Crayfish

Children from Year 1 were invited to Ensors Pool to learn about the very rare White Clawed Crayfish.
Ensors Pool is a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) because it has one of the best populations of the native White Clawed Crayfish.

We walked from our school to the pool.

The rangers had trapped some crayfish for us to look at.

We played some games…

that taught us about the food chain.

We made

and decorated

our own crayfish.
